Hand splints for swimming?
Ruthy9 - January 16

I have FM and Carpal Tunnel. My hands have limited use and extremely painful. I would love to go back to swimming but the pain in my hands is so severe they hurt just pushing the water away when swimming. Is there any type of hand support that can be used in water?

Hi i also have FM and some days my arms and hands are so sore i cannot swim. I have been swimming for about 5 years now only about half hour each time as i get tired very easy. Before i started swimming i used arm and hand supports, but my arms are a little better after swimming. I perservere with the pain and it gets a little better. I feel swimming has helped me and I dont have to wear the supports now.

Hello,
I realise that I am very late to this thread, but I thought I'd give you a link to Speedo.
I too suffer from similar pains and like to swim.
On the link page you will find various pieces of equipment that will help you to move through the water more easily.
On top of that they will also help to build muscle tone (I'm not talking about body builder arms here, just a nice tone to them).
I hope this is helpful.

Forgot to put up the link lol
Blooming fibro-fog.....

Well it appears your not allowed to put up links, that's helpful....NOT

So instead, just type in SPEEDO and the go to equipment and you'll find what I am talking about.
