antiflamatories and sleep study
0 Replies
lori - April 8

I had a sleep study done July 2004. I was taking Vioxx at the time so my achiness was mellow. It stated I suffered from "fragmented sleep". The doctor explained I was surfacing from sleep every three minutes. My body has been achy and sore for years and I wanted to know if I had fybromyalgia but the doctor said nothing. I am to repeat this study this July 2006 and have been off vioxx since November 2004. I was wandering if being on antiflammatories would prevent an accurate diagnoses. My aches and pain have more than doubled since stopping vioxx and my physician has prescribed a new one but hesitate taking it in order to receive a proper diagnosis.
If I do have fybromyalgia could taking antiflamatories prevent an accurate testing at the sleep lab?
