Didn't we go over this already? 95% of fibromyalgia patients do NOT have leukemia. In fact I don't know of a single one on this board who has it nor on any other board ive been on nor have I met anyone who has that disease.

Perhaps it was 95% of Leukemia survivors develop Fibromylagia? That would make a heck of a lot more sense.

Fibromyalgia can be triggered by a trauma or illness; it can also be inherited. However, it does not cause cancer, Leukemia included. Your risk for cancer is the same as someone else with the same medical and genealogical history as you, regardless of whether or not you both have Fibro.

You do not need to be so afraid. In fact, with Fibro, the stress of fear will only make your condition worse, so first thing you need to do is relax.

Second thing you need to do is verify the source of this fact you heard (and anything else you read about Fibromyalgia). There are a lot of incredible things that people say about Fibromyalgia, a lot of it is wrong or misguided. Unfortunately Fibro is still a very misunderstood dis-ease. One thing it is not is a cancer-causer.
