Does your doc have you on meds that help you sleep? If not you need to ask about taking something. I now take amitryptelene (i know i butchered that spelling) at night. It helps with the pain and keeps me from waking up during the night. Still, I have to make myself get to bed at a decent hour even when I don't feel sleepy. I really don't have a trigger that says "ok, you're tired. go to bed" sometime I'll end up staying awake until 5 or 6 in the morning even when I got up at 11am or so. You may feel fine now but if you keep going without sleep you're going to start feeling the effects. I started having anxiety attack , became extra sensitive about things and was very short-tempered before I started sleeping again. Good Luck!

Same situation as tnichel. I am on Ambien CR and 3 muscle relaxants. I still have trouble sleeping. I also have sleep apnea and use a machine at night. My doc wants my pulmonologist to look into the issue. (they dieal with sleep disorders)
