Have you ever been tested for sleep apnea?? I know it sounds strange but we just spent 2 weeks at the Mayo clinic with my husband. They weren't real sure that he had Fibro but it was confirmed there. He also was told that he had sleep apnea that can be related to fibro and which in turn can cause restless leg syndrome. He has times where his legs are really "creepy crawly" and he just wants to move and walk. Drives him crazy! They put him on a cpap but don't know yet how well that is working. He has several other conditions that may or may not be related to the fibro. He was just really happy to have someone tell him he wasn't crazy. I know that you can have RLS without having sleep apnea but the neuro at the Mayo led us to beleive that it was all tied in together. If you are having problems sleeping it might be worth asking your doctor about. They did a simple pulse oximeter test before doing a formal sleep study to see if he was a candidate for the sleep apnea. | |
