doctors diagnosis

I have an appt. next week with my doctor. I know I have fibromyalgia. I have had it for 15/20 years but since I started exercising I am in a lot of pain and need to know.......
My question is - is my doctor going to think I am nuts!!! has anyone experienced that? are doctors now-a-days more knowlegable?

Hi there - I am new to this site and am sitting reading all the old posts. However in my experience - no. I am diagnosed after 18 months of doc's phsychologists, physchiarists, and now finally to a naturopath who listened and now I'm happy/lucky to say things are under controlled.

However she needed a rheumatologists report to help her.

You arenot nuts just keep going..
