Blonde, you have come to the right place!! I too am newly diagnosised but there are many here that have had FMS for a lot of years. You will find more communication going on under the General Discussion Forum. Are you on any treatments at this time?

I am newly diagnosed also. I have three boys and am 37 I think that things can be managed under the right care. You need the right medications for you and exercize and maybe natural meds it all depends on you and how you react. I am on Lexapro at night which is an anti anxiety but seems to help fibro patients as a secondary effect. It helps me sleep more soundly plus Celebrex in the morning. I have a pain med when it gets really bad but only take it PRN and at night. You have been living with it this long without a diagnosis I am sure you can keep going for quite a long time with a diagnosis just keep trying different things until something works. Chin up.
