UK Support Group?

Hi, I believe I may have fibromyalgia but my GP refuses to even recognise the condition. Are there any support groups in the UK (S. Wales if poss) where I could get a recommendation for a diagnosis? I have had these symptoms for 7 years and only found out about fibromyalgia last year. Everything fits in to the condition but it is so frustrating trying to find a medical practictioner in my area who is sympathetic.
If anyone can help, I would be grateful.

Have you tried the uk's fibromyalgia page? they have proffesional support groups and can offer advice on local doctors. They even have a letter you can print out to show doctors, which says that it is recognised as a medical condition by the government. haven't got the website but it should come up on most search engines.
