Something I Learned In Therapy For My Pain

My pain typically starts in my jaw, goes to my neck, shoulders and then ya'll know the rest. One thing I learned and try to do when I start feeling in alot of pain is what I learned in therapy. What made me think of this is because I have been reading others questions and replies and I have been feeling like someone has taken the words write out of my mouth and I realized that my shoulder blades were up to my ears almost and that I was starting to get tense. Anyways....

Sit up straight, have your shoulders back (the way your supposed to sit) with your shoulders level. Then bend your arms at a 90degree angle and push your arms back and squeeze your shoulder blades - hold this for about 10 seconds. Do this 3x and then rest.

Sit up straight, have your shoulders back (the way your supposed to sit) with your shoulders level. With your chin DOWN tilt your head to your left shoulder, hold 20 seconds and then do the right side. Do this 3x each.

Try this when ya'll start feeling tense. I am not in the medical field and I am not a therapist - just passing on a few helpful tips for the upper body.
