Massage Therapy helps me so much. Of course, it depends on the massage therapist too and their technique. I look forward to that time when the pain is reduced and I can almost relax.

When I leave I noticed my legs lift higher when I walk and getting into the car. When I get home, I notice it's so much easier to get up the stairs.

Unfortunately, it doesnt hold for long, probably because I am thrown right back into working and daily duties. But I go every 4-6 weeks. Should go more often, but that's all I can afford right now.

There is something to be said for the relief from alot of the pain even for a few minutes...seems to help so much.

I find it helps alot, although if I am worked on while I am having a flare up or already pretty sore that day, I end up either bringing on a flare up or making it worse. My therapist if my friend though so if she hurts me I scream and we laugh and that's that. :) Good luck and you should definatley try it! Some places even sell discount cards where if you buy a couple massages up front, they will issue you a free session. Maybe you insurance even will cover it.
