Barking mad would be my estimation. I suspect that she is one of those doctors who thinks people with Fibromyalgia (FMS) are just lazy hypochondriacs. I would not survive 15 minutes of her proposed "treatment" never mind 6 hours. Find someone else to manage your FMS. Take care.

I totally agree with stephanyb11 and fantod! What is she thinking, six hours???? I struggle with my exercises everyday and need to adjust my meds to accomplish these, I can't imagine what I'd have to take to do six hours. Oh maybe an elephant tranquilizer, but then again I'd be unconscious. Good luck sweater, Patty

He she raven mad!!! my doctor say water would be good, if I can get near it, a little stretching here, a little feather weight here and maybe a little dance is about what she think someone with FMS should do. Sure, I've read about aerobic excercise for fibro people, but never thought in the world that they would want us to do 6 hours a day for three weeks. What is she, nuts..... has she losts her marbles. I would say no, no and no. You can try 20 to 30 minutes of water therepy and work at going into the water therapy to an hour after you get use to it, and that you feel comfortable. But as soon as you start getting a flare, you need to pull back and only do 20 minutes.
