Can fibromyalgia be fully cured?

I am in the armed forces and have been diagnose with myofacial pain syndrome. Sufice to say, I am in pain and so far its been 2 years since I started suffering from it. I am not going to get into details about my case right now but I like to hear, CAN IT BE CURED OR WILL I SUFFER FROM THIS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE?
