I have a 3 yr old and every day I feel like I can't go another day, It is very hard and stressful. Do not feel guilty, do what you can. The parents should be understanding.

My fribro can on when my children were 2 and 5 it was a nightmare I had no energy for them slept most of the time (talk about TV baby sitting my 2 yr old. When I think back on it, it all seems like a dream. But I needed to take care of my self and did I have more energy now for them altho they are 13 and 16 now thank God for their help sometimes. I do fell a little guilty but no need to dwell on something I couldn't help. Take care and one day you will be able to babysit them.

Lemon, I too am a Gramee and wish I had more energy (and less pain) for my 2 darling grandchildren. My 5 month old granddaughter weighs only 17 lbs, yet I am only able to pick her up for a very short time without excrutiating pain in my shoulders and back. The pain does not just go away when I put her down, I know it's going to last for a few days. I can relate to what you're feeling since we want to show them any way we can how much we love them. When my 3 year old grandson gives me a hug, it's the best medication that one can get. Get all the hugs you can and know that you can only do what you can do. If only we could wish each other a lifetime of no pain . . .
