Yes, the heavy metal theory is just one of them. Another theory is gluten sensitivity. Not enough to be considered celiac but still causing damage to the intestines. A blood test may or may not catch it. The most definitive test is using a stool sample. The percentage of people in the population with gluten sensitivity is much higher than previously thought. This is an area that functional medicine specialists are looking at as a possible trigger for Fibromyalgia (FMS). | |
