How do I confront my father, he isn't handling the situation

I'm stuck at home with my father, I'm 32 years old, and I'd really rather suffer through the pain at work, then deal with his altering moods. I do absolutely nothing to deserve the treatment I am getting. I get that he's frustrated but does he have to be such a jack ass to me. I've tried to tell him numerous times of my situation but he won't listen to me. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.

Emotional abuse is just as bad as physical, I'm so tired of dealing with it and sweeping it under the rug. If I had money I'd be out of here.

Any Advice would be great. I'll never get to a better place with this disease if I don't have my families support.

Have you thought about going to family counseling about this condition or getting the information for him to read so he can understand what is going on with you? If he still does not get it I would suggest for yourself some proffessional help, like in psychiatry because they would be better at handling this type of situation and possibly have better ideas for you to help you help your dad.

he isn't the type to go to counsleing it's like an insult to him. I've been to therapy for this over and over again, and he doesn't want to deal with it. Thanks for the help:)

Can you work? Got a job? If you do there is help with FHA housing that you pay according to your pay check. It's a start.

How do i find out where that is in my neighborhood, I've heard of some apartments that charge rent based on what you make?

Try the Chamber of Commerce in your area, the Housing authority, If you know whare these apts are go there to get information, go to the health department, if anything they will send you to the right place. Happy Holidays. Stay Strong for I know this is difficult.
