I had the abdominal hysterectomy. It tookme about6 weeks to get back on my feet enough to work only a few hours a day. You will get tired easily. However, I am glead ite was done. You have to learn not to push yourself and rest as much as you can. I learned to roll out of bed instead of sitting straight up. As for pain I took what the DR. gave me and gradually it got better. Please don't expect to feel 100%wonderful after six weeks as this operation effects you emotionally too. It took me a year to feel like that and alot of patience from my family. But the key to getting better is rest rest rest. Good Luck and if you feel you want to talk you can write me at noseeum9@WMconnect.com. | |
