electric shock intermittent head pain

I just had this experience for the first time a few weeks ago. First doctor said wait for shingles. second doctor did bllod work found extreme high SED rate and said lets do temporal artery biopsy could be TA Temporal Arteritis. Anyone heard of this and a fibro connection. I have been on Lyrica for one year...could this be side effect?
