No you are diffenately not alone. I grew up with a true hypocondriac for a mother and I rarely go to the doctor until i am in so much pain or illness i can barely move. That may be why I went so long undiagnosed. for the last 4 yrs I have had just one thing after another. just about the time i get one cleared up another hits and no real releif in between. That when I was diagnosed it all seemed to fit and fall together. If you have a good fibro friendly doctor he will not think you are a hypocondriac, there are so many different symptoms and attached illnesses that go with fibro never be afraid to ask your doctor about something

Tom - I can certainly appreciate your comments on the variable nature of fibromyalgia (FMS). It is impossible to plan anything. Right now, I am going through one of the "sleep - who needs that" phases. God knows, what will be next.

Definitely it's normal for things to fluctuate. My first symptom to get under control was the pain, then a few months later my hypoglycemia kicked in, then the dizziness was a major factor, and now I'm working on the non-pregnancy morning nausea.
