I have had Fibromyalsia now for 4 years and cant find one Dr. who even believes that it exists.My question is - if there is so much documentation here an the web - why is it that more Dr's dont recognize it and know how to treat it? Dont they study it in Med School?

Sounds a bit like here in South Africa. Took 6 years to get to the diagnosis. Apparantley the US is the most jacked up with FMS. I have had to learn almost everything from the internet. All the best.

Hiya.When we have something like this our doctors become out best friends.We have to build a good reletionship with them in order to achieve our goals,not letting this disease win.
They are only human and like so many of us only believe what can be seen and documented.
Many doctors are now getting behind us and finaly believing that fibromyalgia IS A REAL disease and not simply "All in our minds" which sadly some still belive.
Why not think about a second oppinion?
