Time frame of symptoms

Do the different symptons of fibromyalgia come on over a period of time (years) or in a very short period of time (months, weeks)?

Hi,to be honest Im not 100% sure but can tell you about my experiences if thathelps.
I had a bad case of chickenpox pneumonia which I was in hospis for and Im glad to still be here.I now have C.O.P.D FMS and its flared my arthritis too.
I just felt I hadnt got better after it and I just kept getting slowly(very slowly) worse.Im not sure really and think everyone is different but I dont think its a sudden thing but more like a progressing disease.
