Do any of you guys get a temp in the high 98s to low-mid 99s? I do. I have for more than a year and I can't figure out if it's fibro, premenstrual, or perimenopause related....?

for me it's totally related to my monthly cycle. Usually have below average temp, but goes up for ovulation and sometimes doean't come down until the actual period. I have started taking evening primrose oil to see if that will manage pms

Everyone is different and I would not worry about it, don't forget that basal temp is always a little higher you are normal.

Hi Fibrogal, I too get a slightly elevated temp on a daily basis. Strangely it seems to accompany the daily migraine I get, this happens at 3pm every day (weird right)!!!!
I am 48yrs old and am not experiencing perimenopause as of yet anyway. My obgyn isn't sure what it is but doesn't seem too concerned. I guess it's one of lifes little mysteries, like the missing sock in the dryer.:)

Mine's always run low, from 95-96. I think it's probably just one of those idiosyncrasies of health, since everyone has a 'normal' range.

my normal temp has always been 97.6 actually its the same for my sisters as well, but latley since i've been experiencing more pain my temp is now running 99, something. i'm glad someone brought this up cux it seemed strange that this has happened during this exacerbation of pain. my one dr did say that it could be coming from this cux of the inflamation we get into our bodies. i no longer ovuate so i know its not from that. and for those of us that carry a subnormal temp like in the 97's a 99. something temp is like someone carrying a 100. something temp
