Yep, I know how you feel, guess what it's all part of having fibro. Some days no matter what nothing works, other days you feel good. Stop worrying about it, and just take it one days at a time. I usually take an ice bad to my head and live with it until my head feels numb, some days I have this bag of ice on my head for days then it goes away. Be careful if you drink colas, eat chocolate or coffees they are a no no for you that and sugar, will give you those headaches.

I don't drink soda and very little caffiene. I think alot of it has to do with what the weather is for the day. You're right, one day at a time. i have certain neck stretches that seem to help a little and try to sleep in a good position. Lots of times I can't lay on the back of my head because the pressure is so intense. I wonder what the best state is to live in with fibro?

The pressure for me is like intense sinus pressure. Through my face around my eyes and back of my head. Weather does have something to do with it. I have non allergic rhinitis-my sinus passages swell when aggravated, and apparentaly they are easily aggravated. The weather and pollen, dust, trees, etc. My doctor presribed a steriod nasal spray that helps...do you have the pressure from sinus...or is your pressure different than that? Just curious...

I have 2 long gel filled ice packs that wrap around my head, much better than an ice pack.

I have sensitive nasal passages and I've tried some of the sprays. Unfortunalty I'm one that re-acts in a bad way to many many meds. I've stopped all meds and there is a peace of mind that goes along with it. Ice helps.

I know exactly what you are going through! My theory(haha)is that my muscles in my head and behind my eyes are tightening up and causing the "feeling" of pressure. I hope this helps relieve some of your worrying! :)

I have a pressure point right on my temple sometimes. I have learned to except it as part of fibro when it does happen . I do have vision problems tho and that can't be ignored. Some days I can see better than others. Wierd how that does that but Fibro is weird don't you think.?

I don't know where the pressure is in your head or your exact symptoms. But when I was thirteen I started getting debilitating headaches. They were almost migraines, but not quite. I had them almost every day, non-stop for three years, and my parents tried everything. I stumbled across a chiropractor who practiced cranial manipulation. Apparently I had a couple bones jammed in my head...in less than three months of treatment my headaches were gone. This may or may not be your problem, but it might be worth looking into.
