Hi, I am new to this forum and new to fibromyalgia as well. I think I have had it for about 10 years, but was just recently diagnosed.
Here is my question. The weather here has been really hot and I am not used to it. I have been in so much pain, I can barely move. I feel like I have a really bad flu, but I don't. Can this happen?

Hi, Nique. Weather can definitely affect how you feel. My muscle aches are worse than usual, too.

Hi Nique!
YES, weather plays a HUGE part on how you feel. I live in South Florida and the hot humid weather in July, August and September can be brutal. I find that my internal therostat works overtime and I can sweat just standing still. And that's inside with the A/C on!!! Hang in there...!
