I injured my rotator cuff and then developed costochondiritis. It has been 5 months since onset and it is more painful than my shoulder surgery. I have had the shot, used the Voltaren patches, none of which have any effect. It gets better and then I will wake up and feel like I have been shot in the chest. Does it ever really get better?

Have you seen a orthopedic surgeon for your rotator cuff? Where you prescribe physical therapy. If after 5 months you are not feeling any better, I would go see the surgeon who operated on you.

I have had the same a long time ago, and I do not feel my shoulder at all except I do get shooting pain going through but it's from FMS and I get the same shooting pain everywhere in my body.
