Fibromyalgia Symptoms HOME

I got Lyme Disease when I was 12. I have had wierd joint achs, muscle pain, headaches, fatigue and on and on since then (I'mm 33 now) I have blown most of it off as have 4 kids and being married. Then one morning about 8 years ago I woke up in searing burning pain all over my back. It was so bad I could barely move or even sit back on my chair. My mom drove me to the ER and they ran a quick lyme test and it came back pos so they put me on AB's. It happened again about 5 yrs ago, but I didn't bother going in. I loaded up on pain releivers and spent most of the day on my hands and knees. The last 6 months I have been having those pains again and finally the Doc said the word Fibromyalgia. I tried Amatryptaline for 3 months and although it helped with the sleeping, I was so groggy during the day I couldn't function. I stopped it. I started poking around on the internet the other night and found that I have all the symptomes of FM BUT when I saw on the one of the articles that it is possibly a type of arthritis I punched in the computer Fibromyalgia and Lyme Disease and found an array of articles. FM and LD have almost identical symptoms accept for the rash of LD. I have an appt. With my doc on Mon. I am gonna see if he will do the more widespread tests for Lyme and see if that is what is causing my FM. I guess I be posting later on Mon.
