Hi Everyone, I'm kiwigirl all the way from New Zealand. I havn't been able to find a group closer to home, so hope I can join in here. I too am newly diagnosed with FM but have been suffering for many years. I look forward to being able to chat with you all and gain a bit of support on those "bad days" that plague us all.

Hi Kiwigirl - Welcome to the group! This is, in my opinion, the best website on the Internet for Fibromyalgia (FMS). Take some time to read all of the information in the blue boxes on the lefthand side of this page. Lots of good stuff there and in the posts from various members. Feel free to ask questions or just vent. Take care.

Hi kiwigirl im from the great NZ as well im a kiwiboy, ive had fms for about 9 years and was diagnosed with cfs in the late 1980s, im in Dunedin and your right its had to get support around here. had a bad day today alot of pain in my back and leftside. I spent the morning in bed. I felt better in the afternoon and managed to cut some wood, This is a strange condition if anyone had seen me they wood of thought there was nothing wrong with me, (only if) would be wonderful, that day will come im sure of it.

Nice to know I'm not the only one in NZ with FMS, am very suprised about the lack of support in this country, all the website links are invalid or no one replies!
I'm from Sunny Nelson, its a lovely winters day here today and I'm feeling good for a change, but that, as you well know can change in an instant.

Anyway Nelson, love it. I had many wonderful Xmas holidays their when i was a we chap many moons ago.
I have also had a better day with the nice sunny weather down here, and im not joking, you will know what i mean.
This is a cool site enjoy, and i will catch up later.
