I don't get it. If you have a bunion on that foot than that could certainly be the source of your pain. Everyone experiences pain differently and Fibromyalgia (FMS) certainly seems to pump things up that may not otherwise be much of a bother. I had two types of bunions. Just got the easiest set fixed - tailor's bunions which affect the baby toe. My feet were sore all of the time, it hurt to walk and I did not have much flexability. I'm just recovering from that surgery and now plotting out when to do the others. You'll just have to put your foot down (sorry I could not resist - lol) and insist something has to be done. If the pain is similar to what you experienced the first time than you know that it is time. I know the Canadian health system is differen than ours and things are not always simple. Good luck.

It's on the joint of my big toe, I can't wear heels, I can barely wear running shoes if I'm going to be on my feet for any length of time. We don't have a dishwasher, or rather I am the dishwasher, and just standing there washing dishes causes the pain. Forget about walking barefoot. Because it's my right foot, even driving for extended periods of time aggravates it.

Ive had 3 surgeries so far on my feet due to my bone disease. One tumor removed was the size of a golf ball.

I don't know if this is available in Canada but you might consider the Flector Pain Patch. This patch only works where it is applied. It does not get into your bloodstream and will not get you high. You could cut them up into strips to wrap around the affected area. I have degenerative disc disease and use these on my lower back pretty regularly. My back is generally terrible so I would expect it would effective for you. Clearly something is wrong. I hope you can get someone to listen to your complaint and take it seriously. Take care.

hmmm...I've never heard of them or seen them for that matter. They sound like something our government wouldn't approve as an OTC. There may be a prescription requirement, I will have to talk with my dr about it.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The Flector patch is prescription only. Take care.

Ah the Flector patch is just Pennsaid, some topical pain killer that never really did a thing for me.
