I have been suffering with Fibromyalgia for years and working just became so difficult then impossible. I was so emotionally distraut on what I can do, hurts too bad to work but you have to make money some how to survive right??. A friend heard that people suffering from Fibromyalgia qualify for disability. I thought great this can really be the answer. I fought and I fought but was denied. I found a great disability lawyer to take my case and he did everything. I know do not have to worry about where the next meal comes from I can focus on helping myself feel better. I wanted to share my story with everyone just in case someone out there is going through the same thing. [br]

Hi...I too have been suffering from FMS for a long time. I was working at the time it got really bad and I had to quit my job. i have applied for disability twice and twice denied. They said I present myself to be able to function " normally ". I had enough and I finally now have a lawyer who is willing to take my case. It is so hard because I can shower, dress myself, etc., I just can't stand and sit for any period of time. It hurts to stand and do dishes, or to vacuum. I also have chronic fatigue which makes it all worse. I hope this lawyer will get me the disability I so desperately need. I'm glad it worked out for you!

I highly recommend Allsup. You can find their site on the Internet. They do all of the paperwork and walk you through the whole process. Their success rate is 98%. I have a friend with FMs and she got approved in 6 months with Allsup taking her through the process from start to finish. They are nothing but nice and explain everything (repeatedly if needed) clearly. If you are not approved, there is no charge for the service. Take care.
