Hi I was diagnosed this year with fm, took a while but we finally known the name. I am incapable of working at the moment. Can someone tell me how they do it, I mean go to work in the morning and come back and live a day at home, making supper, homework and drive kids to here and there. I am soooo tired, there are days I can't even lift a spoon and don't give a damn.

I've been there and still am. Wish I could tell you what to do but i can't. I just plug along all day only because I have too. I also don't work so can take breaks any time I want. I feel for you though.

I was diagnosed 15yrs ago with FM, I have 3monsters, 1 hubby (who is a merchant marine & gone 6-8months) 2 dogs. I also work as an adult daycare provider (aka corrections officer) at the county jail where i live. I am also a voulenteer FF/EMT-I with my towns Fire Department. In the past 2 yrs FM has kicked my butt! How do I do it honestly I don't know, i just don't let the pain stop me from doing something i really want to do, but i sometimes end up feeling the repercussions times 10 when i go to bed.
