It could be costochondritis and/or Fibromyalgia. Hard to say. I think you should see your doctor just to rule any other significant problem out. I had a similar situation a couple of years ago. I was experiencing severe pain in one hip. I assumed it was my osteoarthitis where in fact it was a failed disc in my back that happened with no warning. I hope it is nothing more than the two options I initially suggested. You might ask your doctor for the Flector pain patch which is very effective. It only works where it is applied and does not affect any medication that you are taking. It is worn 12 hours on and 12 off. At least it would give some relief from your shoulder pressure points.
