I went to the pool for hydrotherapy after a car accident, it was great for most of my body, but noticed that my hands and toes were achy and numb too, I thought it might be the water or surface of the bottom of the pool, but it didn't get better when I finished my classes, my GP said it was raynauds syndrome, it's common with Fibro, I am not totally convinced that is what it is though cause I don't go through all the color changes, but do have the pain and hot/cold symptoms. warm water helps to take away the pain some, but I wouldn't be suprised if the chemicals in the pool don't agrivate the fibro symptoms, I know that I am sensitive to chlorinated drinking water. I have not looked into it, it might be worth a try, but raynauds is a treatable thing. The pool exercises are very good for you though, try warming up in the hot tub after your exercises. There are also rubber type gloves and water shoes if the water is too cold.
Also, carpal tunnel causes similar symptoms, could be you are over-working your arm muscles, that triggered mine, years ago waiting tables with heavy dishes, only took 6 weeks and I was crippled so bad my arms were dead every morning, then hurt real bad when the circulation returned.y fingers were numb for years before I had the surgery. A€neurologist can test that real quick.
