Hi Emmy, I am a 51 year old male with Forbromyalgia and have also tried QiQong and other alternative therapies. Like you I have also found that both QiQong and Tai Chi cause me pain for a week or so after workout. My doctor has advised that I discontinue the exercises. I have tried Tai Chi several times and each time I have been in pain. Unfortunately this can be disheartening and disappointing but if it hurts you need to stop. I have found that Reiki and self-hypnosis are somewhat beneficial in that they are relaxing. I wish you the best of luck in coping with this illness. | |
