I'm 33 I have Fibromyalgia and a few other related problems. I've been working with weights, walkingon a treadmill and biking on an encumbant bike. Since I've been doing this I feel much better, i have to keep up good stretching techniquesand some days excercise is all i can do. I feel high protien is important (not meaning cutting out carbs). I need to keep a routine to keep me going and sometimes if I excercise too much I need a three day reprieve to recover. I still need meds but i use them so i can funtion not to escape. I still have pain but my life is more managable.

I go to Curves 3 times a week, mostly for FM, but hope to tone & lose 10 lbs too. I like it because you work only as hard as you can/want. There are 2 machines I can't use due to pain in neck & shoulders though.

The exercise seemes to lessen the pain and also helps me sleep. I have been off pain medication since I have been exercising and notice a big difference if I skip a few days.
