I've been using Ultram (only 50 mg.) each day. I take 1/2 in the AM, and the other 1/2 around 4 PM. Pain free all day. Don't take too late at night or it will keep you awake! Just try the morning dose first.

ultram is a very mild opioid and rarely works at all unless you take 150mg at a time. The most effective pain medication ive seen is hydrcodone or morphine, but beware before you ask the doc for it. You WILL become dependant on any opioid base drug and unable to stop without assistance. forms of hydrocodone are lortab, vicotin, lorcet and norco. Thw work very well, but be ready to battle an addiction when they lose thier effectiveness! Ive learned to use it for about 3 weeks and take a break from it for a couple weeks. This keeps my tolerance low and helps with the addiction.

I have something else you might REALLY like. Ask your doctor about a tordal shot. lasts usualy for about 2 to 3 months and it has no down sides :)
