i was recently in touch with a dr. in b'ham, alabama who is testing this drug for fda approval at the present time. he is using it in conjuction with 2 add't. drugs and reports good success. i have learned it is available online from sources in canada and am curious if a prescription is needed, and if so, if it would be accepted from a dr. in the states. thanks in advance. deb

Hi Deb. I have just recently read about this medicine, I am not taking it, but that it being considered for Fibro treatment, but there was a warning to watch for certain reactions if you have other health issues. I try to stay away from antidepressants cause they wipe me out, but this new breed of them called NSRI's is something to consider, I am really sensetive to drugs and chemicals so finding one that works is tricky, and I have to perservere to see if the side effects go away. But as far as I know, all the meds like that need prescriptions in Canada, even Naprocyn does and you can buy it off the shelf in the US., unless you buy them on line, I guess.
