Hi, Im new to this forun, in fact I'm new to FMS! I was diagnosed in November last year after 4 long years of aches and pains and having surgery 8 times to try and cure problems in my shoulders! after the last procedure i decided that i couldn't take anymore as they didn't seem to be doing me much good so i was refered to a Rheumotoligist who confirmed the FMS. Anyway, to get back to my question, and forgive me if this has already come up in the forum, i wanted to know what people have been prescribed. I should mention that I am from the UK, and i am on (excuse the spelling) 100mg Amptrypaline, Co-codimol, diclofenic and other stuff to stop my stomach reacting to the diclofenic! From what i have seen on the uk forum, this is the norm, is it any different in the States?

Hi i,m from uk also and i,m just wondering how u find all the medication ur taking i would say the co-codimol is safe ish if i was u i would steer clear of the Amitrip (do u take every day?..) and the diclofenic as i copy ur spelling cos nae got clue lyk lol they are also quite light but 100mg amitip thats pretty high u using them to slp yeh?... also how old r u if u dnt mind me askin?.. Ive spoken to a few peeps in the states and quite a few seem to be on morphine ( Oh i gi me some of that lol ) and alot of stuff which we do not get over here.
