does savella block opiate effects?

Hi everyone...I was diagnosed in 1992 and like you all, I have tried alot of stuff to help w/the pain..The thing that works best for me is percocet..it takes the pain away and gives me energy. I also take cymbalta, which does help with the pain and depression. I tried Lyrica and it helped w/the pain, but kept me up at night..My dr took me off of that b4 i started taking ambien to sleep, which is a Godsend!! I just started Savella last night and am not sure what to think yet, cuz it semed to block the effects of the percocet until my evening pill. I was tired and in slow motion all day and usually about an hour after I take the perc, Im functional. Maybe it was because i didnt have any coffee cuz I had to have a procedure done to confirm I have Interstitial Cystitis...I tried looking up savella.com on line but it wont connect...the samples I received didnt include any information about it. Does anyone know if it blocks opiotes?

Call your pharmacist and ask them. I had to go off of Cymbalta to try Savella. You might want to run down the list of drugs that you are taking with the pharmacist to make sure there isn't an interaction going on. Take care and enjoy the holiday weekend.
