cymbalta and ambien

i am taking cymbalta it worked for the first month i felt great now the pain is coming back does anyone know what the highest mg. you can take also i have more trouble sleeping now. i also take ambien i have been on that for almost two years it really helps. anyone else been on a sleeping pill that long.
