Pregnant women with Fibromyalgia

My sister is experiencing symtons that could be fibromyalgia. Can anyone suggest what pain relievers should could take?

A bath can be good,it helps me. If your sister has really bad headaches, like i do then a warm bath with her head under the water, with just her face out might help aswell. An electric blanket for her bed, hot water bottle or heat pads could also help. heat helps me.

I wouldn't recommend a heating blanket, as raising the body temp of above 101 can cause miscarriage. Try Tiger Balm or other topical ointments with natural ingredients.

pain meds while pregnant is not a good idea OTC or rx'ed. you sis needs to talk with her ob/gyn to see if they are comfortable with giving her something to help with the pain but being pregnant i would leave that up to the docs because they will know what is best while pregnant for pain control.
