Does the drug Darvocet help most people from the pains of fibromyalgia?

Dana, I have not been given Darvocet for my fybromyalgia, yet hydrocodone and Oxycotin have worked great. My only problem is that my Doc doesn't like to prescribe these because of their addictive qualities. However, it gives me the best and most long-lasting relief. I taken advil for years, but am worried about the effects it has on my stomach. Have had one endoscopy due to Advil, fortunately nothing was wrong---yet. It's really hard to get a doc to prescribe a narcotic on a regular basis.

I have been taking Darvocet for a couple years now. It helped a lot at first, but over time I've had to up the dosage. Right now I'm at the highest dosage allowed and it still only mildly helps. Lately, I'm finding that it isn't helping as much as it use to. I'm hoping my doctor will find something else for me to try. But, I do think it's worth looking in to.
