Fibromyalgia and antidepressants

Is it possible that a high dose of an antidepressant can aggreviate fibromyalgia? I know they are supposed to help, but have been feeling worse after being on Effexor XR for 3 years (225 mg)

Sounds like it isn't working for you anymore & it is time to try something else. Please talk to your DR.

Be very careful in leaving Effexor...I had terrible mood swings and physical sensations after just three months when I tapered off in order to try a different Rx...
