Drugs and after effects

I'm currently on 100mg of Topomax and 300mg of Neurontin. Although it has stopped the headaches at this point and I am able to sleep again, what are these medications going to do to me long term? Also, this is not the 1st set of medications we have tried and I'm sure I will not be the last since my GYN has has great concern with them interfering with my OC's at this point. What is your thought on this. Please advise.
