Adderal for fibrofog

has anyone tried adderal or one of the other stimulants such as ritalin for 'the foggy brain'?

they gave me Provigil but at the time they gave it to me i also had very bad cfs

I tried Ritalin, but after only 4 days, I could not stand the side effects. Have u tried it yet? It may work for you, give it a chance. Good Luck!

Yes - I was diagnosed with ADD back in 1998. Ritalin and the generic called Methylphenyldate (sp) worked well while I worked outside of the house. Great help with ADD and FMS. Now I am disabled and don't take it as much anymore. I did try Addreall once. I say once. It was way to strong for me and it is a designer drug so it costs way to much too. I would suggest the first two in my message. Good luck.

My shrink put me on Adderal a year ago for depression. It didnt help the depression but did help the brain fog (which at the time I didnt know was fibro-) I went off it. My pmd has me on Provigil, which I am not sure is helping. I am looking forward to my neurologist appt.....maybe he will have a better idea. I am SO tired, foggy, weary, discouraged.
