Imagine two circles that overlap. One cirble represents CFS, the other, FM. There will always be common facets to both syndromes. In fact, I was diagnosed with CFS before I began seeing the more common FM symptoms. I think both are possible.

I thought I already submitted this, but it seems it didn't work. So, here goes again.

Picture two circles that are connected. One circle represents FM, the other, CFS. Both syndromes have many of the same symptoms. I was diagnosed with CFS about 7 years ago. Only the past 3 years or so have I experienced some of the specific FM pains, ie: trigger points, etc. So, it is possible, and possibly common, for both syndromes to be present at once.

Sorry about the double submission. Check both answers out though; I gave more thought to the second one!

It happened again...my computer must be fussy. In any case, while your dealing with symptoms from both symdromes, it's smart to treat them all!
