I have had Fibro for a few years now and not many problems until recently. It hit me full force and as far as taking medications most of them I am allergic to. So where do I go from here? I did find that when I take Calcium and Magnesium on a regular basis I feel better, which is good; however, when I buy my vitamins and herbs I always look at "other ingredients" because if it has listed a whole bunch of "other ingredients" I stay away from it because they are fillers and do nothing for you. Getting back to the pain. I started Aqua Therapy and it was helping but I also have Vocal Cord Dysfunction and the chlorine in the water was attacking that and I couldn't breath right so I had to stop that therapy. I am going to try a full body cleanse and follow the suggestions about watching what I eat and see if that will help me. I will let you know what my findings are. Yes my life has not been the same since this started but I believe there is a reason for me to be exactly where I am so you will hear from me during my process. By the way my age is 71. I do not consider myself old but sometimes I feel about 150. I will not stop moving and stretching and walking till they strap me down. It's been 7 years since my diagnosis. My life has not been the same since. I have tried many medications with limited success. Most recently I have had significant relief from a hormone supplement called Pregnenolone. I only have taken it for 4 days but I noticed positive results almost immediately. My mind is clearer and my stiffness and muscle spasms are less severe. I usually have a "honeymoon" effect with medications. They work at the beginning and then not at all later on. I have my fingers crossed and I am recommending this supplement to all who suffer. The research makes some fantastic claims so do take the time to research. Good luck to all.

I really like this informative video. The Doctors Show try and add some controversial debate when actually patients and doctors are on the same page, but that is to make for good TV I guess. I have suffered with Fibromyalgia but since I embarked on the Chrysalis Effect Recovery programme, both as a sufferer and a practitioner, I agree more and more with Dr Notlin Hadler: treating with drugs that don't work is a bad idea.
