Hello... I am new to this site. I am now in the process of going through examinations and seeing specialists. At first they thought I might have RA.. I don't have any redness or rash.. Just swelling and pain in my hands, feet, knees. I have pain in my neck and lower back and have had that for serveal months. I have major trouble sleeping and am tired all the time. I am pretty depressed, I am thinking it is cause I am not getting sleep and ma hurting. I see the specialsts next week.

From all of you have experienced, could these be some of the signs of FMS.. Just interested in your options. I am very nerous about all of this Thanks in advance for your comments

Hi - just been diagnosed myself. Why don't you purchase a book entitled "The Fibromyalgia Handbook - A 7-Step Program to Halt and Even Reverse Fibromyalgia" by Harris H. McIlwain, Md and Debral Fulghum Bruce Bruce, Ph.D. All will be revealed in there - there is even a section for doctors on questions to ask their patients to see if they have FMS - I think you wil find it very helpful, as have I. Good luck
