I am a 32 year old Women and I have Fibromyalgia. I am taking Elavil now. I have a 3 year old baby and I am planning for another one. Can I get Pregnant or it is cause any harm to the baby
?

Hi Uma, I have been looking up this, as we are trying for a baby, I have come off my medication 3months now. I was recommended not to start trying for a year after coming off but at 28 I am not going to leave it too long, it is not that easy to get pregnant. I was not on Elavil, but I was told that you should be on nothing, it is not easy having no pain relief except paraceamol. Having said this I was reassured that it will not pass to my baby but that my symtoms can get worse if i get pregnant
