I have been fibro free for the last two years after I got pregnant with my son. When he turned 11 months it came back and I've been in pain for 2 months. I've been researching diets for fibros and came across this article about the alkaline diet. It read it and it made a lot of sense (PLEASE go to exceptionalpractice.com/powerpoint/alkalize.pdf ). After a couple of days I felt great and I have been having more better days than bad days. Some days I feel "normal" and have lots of energy. The only thing is that I've been losing alot weight which I didn't need too. Also, I am hungry all the time. I eat every couple of hours. And when I do eat something that is "Acidic" I sure feel it! I haven't gotton any books on alkaline diets yet ( I have one on hold at the library) but I've been researching on the internet. There is contradictions about what is "alkaline: and what is "acidic". That has been confusing. I would love to hear what other people think about this form of treating fibromyalgia. I really think there is something here that can help. Please look into this and let me know what you think. Also, go to altmedicine.about.com/od/popula
