Answer: I also get alot of that, plus bloating and constipation and diarrhea. All part of irritable bowel syndrome, very common with fibro.  =

Answer: Yes, for me, this can be one of my most significant pains/discomforts with fibromyalgia. You should still talk to your doctor about it though, because you never know when something else may be going on. I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy when I first started having trouble around 8 or more years ago and then last year had a colonoscopy. Everything was fine - just the diagnosis of Irritable Bowel Syndrome which, like iliveinpain said, is commonly associated with fibromyalgia  =

Answer: i have that too, and have found two things to be really helpful. 1. avoiding splenda- especially sugar free gum. it must have a realy high amount. 2. taking probiotics. I started out taking it 3 times a day, and now just take it really as needed. I still go through some ibs, but not near as bad as it was. everyone is different, but these are easy things to try!  =
