A coworker of mine has EB and his symptoms are very similar except for the high fevers. I have heard about the possible connection between it and CFS. Is there a test for the virus? Is it a routine test when you see the rheumatologist for FMS? I don't recall anyone ever mentioning that I was tested for it.

i had mono or epstein barr virus 2 times in high school and i have always wondered from what i have read if that and my fibro are connected? it took me 6 years of going through the doctor pool and being treated like i was crazy to finally find a doctor that told me what i already knew, that i had fibro and cfs. my symptoms i have now, with the tiredness and the flu like symptoms are alot like i felt the weeks i was sick back in school with epstein barr
